Join a dynamic team in Ballymount, Dublin as a VNA (Very Narrow Aisle) Driver. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for individuals with a valid VNA forklift certification to work in an ambient environment, handling essential logistics and warehouse operations. The position provides a competitive pay rate of €14 – €16 per hour
This role is crucial for maintaining the smooth and efficient movement of goods within the warehouse. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and precise operation of VNA forklifts, ensuring that products are stored and retrieved with maximum efficiency. Working Monday to Friday, this position offers a stable schedule, allowing for work-life balance and consistent weekly hours.
Working in an ambient environment, you will play a pivotal role in the daily operations of the warehouse. Responsibilities:
- Operate VNA forklifts safely and efficiently in a busy warehouse environment.
- Load and unload goods from trucks and storage areas.
- Place products in designated warehouse locations, ensuring proper stacking and storage.
- Conduct daily equipment checks to ensure forklifts are in safe working condition.
- Follow all health and safety regulations and guidelines.
- Assist with inventory management, ensuring accurate stock levels and locations.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure smooth operations and timely order fulfilment.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the supervisor.
Requirements:
- Valid VNA forklift certification is mandatory.
- Proven experience operating VNA forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations in a warehouse environment.
- Ability to work Monday to Friday, with flexibility for occasional overtime if required.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in handling goods.
- Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual handling tasks.
