Warehouse and Systems Analyst

A leading organisation within the logistics and supply chain sector is seeking an experienced Warehouse and Systems Analyst to join the team in Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and analytical professional to enhance operational efficiency through the implementation and optimisation of warehouse management systems (WMS) and processes.
This role plays a critical part in ensuring seamless warehouse operations, leveraging systems to improve productivity, reduce errors, and support the overall business strategy. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of warehouse operations and experience with WMS solutions, alongside strong analytical skills to drive continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
• Analyse warehouse processes and systems to identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency.
• Implement, maintain, and optimise Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to ensure accurate and seamless operations.
• Collaborate with warehouse managers and teams to develop workflows that enhance productivity.
• Monitor warehouse KPIs, identifying trends and recommending actionable improvements.
• Work closely with IT teams and external providers to troubleshoot and resolve system issues promptly.
• Ensure system integration with other logistics and ERP platforms for smooth data flow.
• Develop and deliver training for warehouse staff on system usage and process updates.
• Perform regular audits of warehouse processes to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Analyse and report on stock management, inventory levels, and operational performance.
• Lead system implementation projects, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
• Support the creation of documentation for system processes, SOPs, and training guides.

Requirements:
• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Systems, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a warehouse environment, with exposure to WMS (Warehouse Management Systems).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for operational efficiency.
• Proficiency in system analysis, troubleshooting, and optimising WMS and related platforms.
• Excellent knowledge of warehouse operations, stock control, and inventory management principles.
• Experience in working with ERP systems and integrating warehouse technology.
• Ability to manage and implement system-related projects effectively.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Ability to train and support staff with new systems and processes.
