Warehouse Manager
Fantastic opportunity has emerged for an experienced Warehouse Manager to join a leading third-party logistics (3PL) provider specialising in air, road, and sea freight forwarding. This position plays a pivotal role in ensuring smooth warehouse operations and the efficient flow of goods through inbound, outbound, and pick-and-pack processes. The successful candidate will leverage strong leadership and logistics expertise to manage a high-performing team in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
In this role, the Warehouse Manager will oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency in all warehousing functions while maintaining compliance with industry standards. A background in forwarding logistics, including robust experience across air, road, and sea freight, is essential. This position is ideal for an individual with a proactive approach and a track record of managing warehouse operations, handling multiple workflows, and driving team success.

Responsibilities:
• Oversee the complete end-to-end warehouse operations, including inbound, outbound, and pick-and-pack processes.
• Coordinate air, road, and sea freight forwarding activities to ensure efficient movement of goods and alignment with client requirements.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team, fostering a productive and safe working environment.
• Ensure accurate inventory control, stock levels, and order accuracy through effective warehouse management practices.
• Develop and implement warehouse and logistics strategies to improve operational efficiency, service levels, and cost control.
• Monitor performance metrics and KPIs to ensure operations meet company targets and quality standards.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and company policies within the warehouse environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimise processes and support company goals in service delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Manage warehouse equipment, maintenance schedules, and supplies, ensuring all resources are effectively allocated.
• Stay informed of industry trends, new technologies, and best practices to continuously improve warehousing and logistics processes.

Requirements:
• Proven experience in a Warehouse Manager role, preferably within a 3PL or freight forwarding environment.
• Strong understanding of air, road, and sea freight forwarding logistics.
• Expertise in managing inbound and outbound logistics, as well as pick-and-pack operations.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing and developing a team.
• Excellent organisational, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
• Proficiency with warehouse management systems and tools, and familiarity with relevant software.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance requirements in a warehouse setting.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a customer-focused approach.
