Job Description

Role: Warehouse Operative

Salary: €28,000-€30,000

Duration: Contract.

Location: Ballymount.

Hours: Monday to Friday.

 

Warehouse Operative

Unique opportunity based in South Dublin has just opened for a skilled warehouse operative to join their team in one of the fastest growing sectors. To be considered for this role you must hold valid licenses in both reach and counterbalance forklifts. If you are seeking a Monday to Friday schedule, weekly pay and a daily commute which is accessible by public transport then this could be the ideal opportunity for you.

Your duties will include operating the reach truck to pick products from high-level locations and using the counterbalance forklift to load and unload products. Additionally, you will support the goods in department by receiving stock and ensuring its accurate receipt of goods, while using warehouse management systems. You will also be expected to assist the outbound team to pick & pack orders in a timely and efficient manner.

Responsibilities: 

  • Safely operate the counterbalance forklift to transport goods throughout the warehouse and yard.
  • Use the reach truck to replenish stock and pick orders from high racking locations.
  • Perform daily safety inspections on all forklift equipment to ensure operational readiness.
  • Prepare goods for dispatch, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and hazard-free warehouse environment.
  • Follow all health and safety protocols, including the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Support general warehouse operations as needed, including assisting both inbound and outbound teams.

Requirements: 

  • Valid Counterbalance Forklift essential.
  • Reach truck certificate mandatory.
  • Manual Handling certificate preferred.
  • Proven experience in operating forklifts within a warehouse environment.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling goods.
