Warehouse Operative

Thriving company based in Dublin 22 is seeking an experienced Warehouse Operative to join its growing team. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a competitive salary and the opportunity to work in a supportive and rewarding environment. The working hours are 08:00-17:00.
You will take on a dual responsibility that includes managing the trade counter and operating a counterbalance forklift. You will be the first point of contact for clients and customers collecting their goods directly from the warehouse, so a strong customer-focused approach is essential. The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment is key, as you’ll be handling multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy and professionalism. Daily interactions with customers require excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude.
You will also be expected to use warehouse management systems such as ERP and SAP, so prior experience with these platforms is necessary. These systems are integral to processing orders, managing inventory, and ensuring smooth operations across the warehouse and trade counter.
This position is ideal for someone looking to build on their existing warehouse experience while gaining valuable exposure to customer-facing responsibilities. To be considered, you must hold a valid counterbalance forklift licence and have previous experience operating one in a busy warehouse setting. Responsibilities:
• Serve customers at the trade counter, providing excellent service and support.
• Operate a counterbalance forklift to move, load, and prepare goods for collection.
• Process customer orders and manage inventory using ERP and SAP systems.
• Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks.
• Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment.

Requirements:
• Valid counterbalance forklift licence with proven experience.
• Previous experience working in a warehouse or trade counter environment.
• Familiarity with ERP and SAP systems.
• Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively.
• Customer-focused mindset with a proactive and helpful attitude.
