Counterbalance Forklift Driver
Growing specialist vehicle maintenance company based in Dublin 22, is seeking a responsible and driven counterbalance forklift driver to join their growing team. The successful candidate is required to have a counterbalance forklift license with previous experience operating in a Warehouse/Logistics setting. This is a great opportunity to grow as there is room for progression for the right candidate.
You will work as part of a small, close-knit warehouse team of 4. Your day will involved supporting all warehouse operations in a fast-moving environment, including operating a counterbalance forklift assisting with loading and unloading trucks. You will manage orders being supplied to other businesses ensuring accurate checking, stock-control and timely dispatch. You’ll be responsible for maintaining high standards of organisation and safety in the warehouse while working a schedule of Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays when required.
Responsibilities
• Support daily warehouse operations
• Operate a counterbalance forklift safely and confidently.
• Load and unload trucks and manage incoming and outgoing goods.
• Handle, pick and check orders being supplied to B2B customers.
• Maintain accurate stock control and carry out routine warehouse checks.
• Use the company’s internal WMS system
• Keep the warehouse organised, clean and compliant with safety procedures.
• Contribute to a positive team environment and support ongoing process improvements.
Requirements
• Proven experience working in a warehouse or logistics environment.
• Strong experience operating a counterbalance forklift (valid licence required).
• Ability to load/unload trucks and handle heavy or awkward items safely.
• Comfortable working with parts or technical stock (automotive experience is a plus).
• Good accuracy and attention to detail when picking, checking and managing stock.
• Positive attitude and ability to work well within a small team.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to support wider warehouse operations as needed.
