Flatbed Rigid Truck Driver with Crane
A leading transportation company based in Cork is seeking a dedicated Flatbed Rigid Truck Driver with a crane to join its team. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled driver to contribute to essential construction projects across the Munster region, delivering materials to various building sites.
The successful candidate will operate a flatbed rigid truck equipped with a crane, ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods. While crane experience is preferred, comprehensive training will be provided to candidates who demonstrate the right skills and attitude. This role requires a professional with strong logistical expertise, a commitment to safety, and a proactive approach to customer service.

Responsibilities:
•⁠ ⁠Operate a flatbed rigid truck with an attached crane to deliver construction materials to various building sites across Munster.
•⁠ ⁠Load and unload materials using the crane, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
•⁠ ⁠Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly.
•⁠ ⁠Follow scheduled routes and delivery timelines, ensuring punctuality and reliability.
•⁠ ⁠Maintain accurate delivery records and manage necessary documentation.
•⁠ ⁠Liaise with site managers and clients to ensure deliveries are completed to satisfaction.
•⁠ ⁠Comply with all road traffic regulations and company policies regarding vehicle operation.

Requirements:
•⁠ ⁠Valid C-class driving licence and up-to-date CPC certification.
•⁠ ⁠Experience driving flatbed rigid trucks, ideally with crane operations.
•⁠ ⁠Previous experience delivering to construction sites is an advantage.
•⁠ ⁠Strong knowledge of the Munster region and local road networks.
•⁠ ⁠Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
•⁠ ⁠Physical fitness and the ability to manage heavy lifting.
•⁠ ⁠High level of professionalism and strong communication skills.
