Salary: €38-40k yearly

Ireland’s leading distributors of both engineering and stainless steel are to add an experienced Rigid Driver to their dynamic team in South Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity for drivers looking to progress their career in both a steady and fulfilling environment. You are expected to have a full, valid C-class driver’s license, as well as your CPC & tachograph cards. You will be delivering tone loads so there will be no handballing involved in this role as the truck will be pre-loaded and will be unloaded by forklifts at the designated locations. This is a standalone driver position in a flatbed rigid truck.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operating rigid trucks to transport goods to designated locations.
• Adhering to all traffic laws and company safety standards.
• Accurately following route and time-schedules.
• Performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Displaying good working relationships with customers.
• Maintaining accurate delivery logs and reports.
• Providing excellent customer service during deliveries.

Requirements:

• A full, valid C-class Irish or EU driver’s license and tachograph card.
• Proven experience with driving flatbed rigid trucks or similar vehicles.
• Excellent time management and communication skills.
• High attention to detail and a commitment to safe driving.
• Strong organizational and customer service skills.
