Rigid Driver
Global leader in FMCG distribution is seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Rigid Driver to join their growing team. This is an excellent chance to establish a long-term career with a company recognised for stability, a modern fleet and strong opportunities for progression. You’ll represent a well-known household brand while enjoying a role that offers routine, consistency and the satisfaction of delivering quality products every day. You must hold a Category C licence along with up-to-date CPC and digital tachograph cards. The position operates on a 5-over-7 rota and may involve working every second weekend.
You will arrive at the distribution centre at 05:30am where your vehicle will be pre-loaded and ready for departure, with 10–15 planned drops. After carrying out your standard pre-drive checks, you’ll begin your route and complete your deliveries professionally and safely. Once your route is finished, your day ends – no second runs, no unnecessary delays. You finish when your scheduled run finishes, giving you predictable hours and a solid work-life balance.
Previous multi-drop experience is beneficial but not essential. Newly qualified drivers who are motivated and eager to begin their career are encouraged to apply. A valid C-licence, CPC and tachograph card are required.
You will take part in a comprehensive two-week induction designed to build confidence and set you up for success. This includes shadowing an experienced Rigid Driver, receiving handheld device training and becoming familiar with the delivery routes before you take on your own run.

Responsibilities:
• Complete up to 15 scheduled deliveries safely and efficiently, representing the brand to a high standard
• Conduct a full daily vehicle check before departure
• Handle all products carefully, ensuring accuracy and professionalism throughout
• Drive responsibly and in full compliance with Road Safety Laws
• Deliver a friendly, reliable and customer-focused service at every stop
• Use the handheld device to scan, record and confirm all deliveries accurately

Requirements:
• Full, valid Category C licence
• In-date CPC and digital tachograph card
• Ability to pass a company driving assessment
• Fit to complete company health screening
• Reliable, organised and proactive with strong problem-solving skills
